...some creepy guy decides to show up at LA fitness. I am getting a great workout in, doing various cardio stuff (attempting to get back 'into' it from giving myself a few days off to celebrate an irish holiday).

I ran for 30 min, biked for 25 min, and was moving along to do an elliptical machine for another 20min. I notice a couple dudes walking in and up the stairs. I think big deal, they're guys, this is a gym it happens. Well they both jump on the treadmills, then suddenly one gets off. Gets behind me when I'm biking (so he is on an elliptical), now once I am done with the bike I go to the elliptical on the OTHER side of the gym. He then follows me again over here and gets on right next to me. I could understand if the gym was packed, but it wasn't and he just came from an elliptical machine. So strange. Men don't really hit on me there, or anywhere, but still having someone just creepishly following me around didn't appeal to me. I tried to continue on the elliptical machine, I do have yet another Mini that I am training for, but his perfume totally blew me out of the water. I was gagging and coughing and frankly dying while breathing heavily from working out. This guy was nuts. Perhaps he is the nicest person in the world, but seriously if you don't speak why should I continue working out next to you? I then got so weirded/freaked/scared that I just left. I thought about doing some free weights or ab work, but for crying out loud I didn't want my new stalker friend to come after me and just stare.

I'd love anyone to talk to me at the gym, in fact I'd rather meet a guy at the gym than at a bar. But seriously, note to these fellas: TALK, SMILE, do something other than just STARE. :) Thank you, and I pray that my next experience at LA will be much more pleasant and sweaty.
