I've been wanting to attend tours through the beautiful IMA gardens but have wanted to wait till it warms up a bit. Any tips on neat tour groups? Fun history to appreciate?
I love the IMA gardens. I've never done a walking tour, but I just love to go on my own. The green house there is pretty cool. They have some neat items in the gift shop connected there. I would almost suggest, before doing a walking tour, walk around a bit on your own and see what you stumble across. My husband and I like to picnic there a lot too. Man, now I'm really craving that warm weather.
I broke my leg last summer and walked a short path in a walking boot (ugh!) and had no idea how much more there was to the grounds!! I wound up taking engagement photos there and was blown away by the fall colors. I think I found a yearly ritual. Any excuse to get outside is good by me- but walking through the beautiful gardens is more for the soul than only for the body.
