$6.5M Hoosier Lotto ticket bought in Elkhart

INDIANAPOLIS — A ticket sold at an Elkhart convenience store matched all six numbers drawn for Wednesday night’s $6.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot.

Lottery officials say no one immediately claimed the prize. The winning numbers were 2, 3, 8, 27, 31 and 40.

The jackpot for the Hoosier Lotto drawing on Saturday goes to $1 million.Meanwhile, none of the tickets sold for the Powerball game Wednesday night matched all six numbers drawn, which were 16, 22, 26, 27, 59 and Powerball 5.Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $25 million jackpot. The prize goes to an estimated $31 million for Saturday.
