This summer there is going to be a kids club at Metropolis in Plainfield for roughly ages 6-10. There will be activities such as rollerblade around the park, Giant Bubble day, Scavenger Hunts, crafts etc. I am working on the graphics for this event and need some help with voting on whether or not you feel these characters are age appropriate, not too scary, and appealing to this age demographic.
you can see a larger verion: HERE
OMG! Those are adorable! No way are they too scary! I want a t-shirt with those if you print some!
I think the characters are adorable, and not scary at all. The theme of the design is very Jetsons, or space age feeling. Does this tie into Metropolis or the activities at all? I guess I'm not seeing the correlation, but the characters are cute.
Metropolis is very space-age modern with all the metal structures and signage. The activities are going to be your typical summer-club activities, but, what kid wants to see a bubble or a rollerblade over a monster or space creature?
I test-marketed it, and my munchkins (although slightly younger than the intended demographic) love the design
I think its a pretty nifty design, the molecule/atom structure in the background is pretty cool. I doubt it would scare children since they see stuff like that in cartoons all of the time, if anything they will think of Monsters Inc movie. But I do have to wonder how this fits with your program or company. Doesnt seem like the logo represents what your trying to produce.

ahh okay, that makes more sense. I've never been there or seen it so I didn't know.
You should make it out there. It's a good time. Great place to do your spring shopping and have a nice dinner. The claddah tent out there for St. Patty's is gonna be nuts!
