Ok, so I'm back visiting Philly where I lived for a year (I talk about it a lot I realize, but when you grow up in a SMALL town, move to big city and move to little city, it's a bit of a highlight). I was online looking to see what all events there were today for something to do, and I just thought I would skim through all the events. Well, aparently, there were at least 55 pages (10 events each) and I gave up after that... There was just too much.
Indy, yes, I know. Smaller city. Less places to do, there for less stuff to do. But, what do you all do? I mean, I go out occasionally, I like the IMA, I like to go bowling, First Fridays are pretty fun...but what do you all do?
What should I try out that I might be missing? Anything?
The Unicorn on Thursday nights, drink and drown.
Mass Ave. is great in the springtime. The patio at the chatterbox is open, and there's always great music. Masterpiece in a day is coming up too, and that's always fun.
Get out ride your bike on the trails, and have a picnic downtown over by white river or something. It all depends on what your into. Theres a little for everyone
Oooh, Masterpiece in a day...I hope I can go this year...I know last year I was hoping to go, but had to work. Are there any sightseeing type places? I love going to the IMA and I went up the monument in the circle...I like cheesy things like that. Thanks for the input.
Monon trail is a winner. What's Masterpiece in a day? Go for a walk the full length of the canal in late May. It's amazing around sunset. Grab some friends and hit up an Indians game when it warms up a bit: great place to catch some sun and a really cheap but delicious beyond reason soft serve ice cream cone! Field entertainment between innings is pretty good usually.
