There are few people that have the talent to move an audience with lyrics and songs. I count Roger Hodgson among those few.

For those not familiar with Hodgson, he was the voice of Supertramp during the first several albums - they were actually called albums back when the music came out because CDs hadn't been invented yet. Roger was one of the two main vocalists for Supertramp, and could be easily recognized because of the falsetto singing that he does on most of the recordings. His voice is still in top form for this DVD, and it's amazing to listen to him sing these songs some 20+ and 30+ years later. He is a very versatile musician, playing the piano, keyboards and 6- and 12-string guitar. If you go to his website, http://www.rogerhodgson.com, you can hear an audio clips and see sample video clips from this project.

There are video clips of Supertramp out on YouTube. One of my favorites is the 1974 version of "Dreamer", which looks like it was filmed in the studio during recording. On Hodgson's new DVD, he talks about creating the song "Dreamer" and it's first recording, and how they used that first recording for the eventual release of that song. For those that like the "behind the scenes" information about the songs, this provides some very interesting information.
