Well, it's official. Southsiders can get their fill of Yats goodness at 1280 US 31 N, Suite W, at the intersection of County Line Road and 31, across from the Greenwood Park Mall.

You know you're craving etouffee now.

Okay, I drove by this place an hour ago and it didn't look like it was ready to open... Has anyone actually been in yet?

I seriously need some Yats! I will try it again this afternoon before I go to work.

Thanks for letting me know. I live 10 mins. from there...and that will be my new hangout.

I hope it has the same ambiance as the Mass Ave Yats.

Where in Greenwood does Peyton Manning live? There is a large house on 144 between Whiteland Rd. and SR135...there was rumor that he lived there...but then another rumor that he did not...??

Lucky! I live on the west side. I was told they used to have one in Brownsburg and they closed it :( Sucks to be me.

My cousin owns a heating and cooling company and she told me that they worked on Peyton's house in the Meridian Kessler area. shrugs

how I wish that Yats had never given up their Bloomington location to be tainted by what it has become - "Dat's" - it does not compare. Yat's please come back!

Went to Yat's after work last night (Thursday). The food is the same, (yes!) but the ambiance is not. But what do you expect from a strip mall location? Regardless, the place was packed, and the people were loving it. I saw two menu items (Jambalaya and the Red Beans) being wiped off the board as they sold out of those dishes. A lot of bantering between employees and diners. The cashier was sooo busy she mistakenly gave me only $7 back in change from a twenty-dollar bill. She saw my puzzled look and quickly corrected the mistake. This place reminds me a lot of the 96th Street location. I can see myself ducking in here a lot for weekend lunches.

Thank the good Lord!!! I live right off of County Line and cannot wait! I used to live downtown off of Mass Ave and was there when Yat's opened - now it's following me. I am so so happy. Guess I know where I am going for dinner tonight! Ambiance be damned - I just love the food. :)
