What is the feeling on the street on our two candidates for the 7th Congressional District? On the one hand we have a man whose only claim to the seat is a family name and a tenuous (at best) political history (i.e. running unopposed for a City-County Council seat in a heavily partisan area that was his grandmother's domain). On the other hand we have a political neophyte who, while having won 2 elections already (and that by the slimmest of margins), seems to want to jump to the next best thing whenever the opportunity arises with no regard to the constituency he would, and has, left behind. Do any readers out there volunteer for either campaign? Do the readers out there even care that we have an election less than a week away? Would the citizens of the 7th District prefer the 3rd (though largely unknown and underfunded Libertarian) candidate, or, would they rather see an 'Independent' run for the seat who would bypass traditional partisan politics and represent all citizens of the 7th regardless of political preference. Let me hear what you have to say.

I was pretty disappointed by when both of these these two candidates were selected. There are so many strong people in the state legislature and city/county council, many of whom could beat either of these guys. At least that seat is up for election again in November...
