Taiyo La Paix
The first art in a long time that has completely taken my breath away! Taiyo La Paix has an amazing ability to give an attractive emotion to a moderately unattractive subject. It seems like the stereotypical world view of american women. However he creates this attraction and evokes empathy from the viewer in the scenes and situations in which the subjects are placed. You have to check this guy out!

Awesome. I love the painting of the couple in the car. The crazy detail is stunning. I love the pig in the background and the weird cat. The sunset is ridiculous too! Love it!!! You have good taste!
Nice find ronlewhorn. Looks like this artist was also recently featured on Juxtapoz which is a cool magazine and website.
Lots of other interesting artists on the site too, such as Del Baldo, Gianluca and Vina. Some of Del Baldo's are a bit too grimey for me though.

First time I've seen any of La Paix's work...his women are almost Thomas Hart Benton-ish with their exaggerated curves. Like his color schemes too.
