Has anyone else used craigslist.org? I'm seriously obsessed with it!! I find myself checking it more than my e-mail! Of course, buying a house and having a baby might have something to do with it!! I totally recommend it to everyone! I've bought everything from appliances, digital cameras, furniture, kids toys and probably spent a fraction of what I would have in the stores! It even has house listings and I actually met my soon to be husband on there too!! Crazy!!

I'm a Craigslist addict as well. Recently I have purchased an $80 Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for $65, an $800 Takamine acoustic/electric guitar for $250, and a $110 camera tripod for $30. I've also unloaded a few things, and will be listing a Sega Dreamcast and an old 27" TV this weekend. My real weakness though is the "Missed Connections" section. I mean...who DOESN'T like the idea of someone out there noticing them and looking for them?

Yeah, Craig's List is great (although, to be honest, I think my fiancée has an addiction to it).

what am I disagreeing with you on? I'm not a "hippy" and your idiocy is self pro-claimed.

You're talking s--- about me when I haven't done a thing to you. I just want to know how I'm an idiot. Is it because I don't agree with you? Yes, you are a hippie, I saw you're picture.

Back to the craigslist aspect of this post... Yes I love it!! I just bought a camera off of the site, and peruse the jobs all of the time. I check it at least once daily :) Just sent a few emails to people that items listed a few minutes ago. :)

I've only just recently discovered Craigslist. There's a lot of good stuff on there BUT also, a lot of crap.

It's a great place to find hookers, stolen merchandise for cheap, and people to buy drugs from.

I've never bought anything off Craigslist but my brother checks the site every day and has made some pretty good finds like a $10 TV and a lot of cheap furniture, mostly from college students that are moving back home at the end of the school year and don't want to take stuff with them.

I see a lot of people asking for crazy high prices for things though, like above retail for Nintendo Wiis.

I've had a really great job through a well known photographer through Craigslist, and a couple of really great contacts and interviews. Given craigslist is more well known and used in bigger cities, therefore, there are better posts, more posts and better stuff. Sure there's junk on there. It's basically a glorified garage sale/bulletin board, but I think it's useful and wish more people would use it. It would make it more worthwhile sifting through it all. I've been an addict for a few years now.

Oh, it slipped my mind but I actually got a job through Craigslist too. It never hurts to browse their job listings, although I'm sure the Indy Star doesn't like this post since Craiglist is one of their main competitors.

Oooooo how much for the Dreamcast? And any games to go with it? I miss my Dreamcast, I sold mine to buy a PS2.
