I believe it a little bit but I think its blown way out of proportion. I think Al Gore was a little upset that he wasn't elected President and needed to get attention other ways.
First, did you know Al Gore has been involved with trying to raise awareness on this issue for the past few decades? It has nothing to do with the 2000 election, in which he actually received more votes than the guy the supreme court, not the citizens of this country, chose. That incident, no doubt, caused him to "fall out of love" with politics. Well, no wonder. Politics in America, whether left or right, are dominated by corporate interests and the military industrial complex, which Eisenhower warned us against years and years ago.
Second, climate change does not mean it will always be warmer each year in every given locale. Obviously, the effects are being felt in the arctics first and foremost. Scientists have a broader view than we do. We tend to only see what is right in front of our face or happening at the moment in our own backyard.
It was awesome. My wife and I hung out in Broad Ripple after I got off work. I can't wait for spring!
I would like Indianapolis a lot more if this were as cold as it got. I wish Global Warming was true.
I'd like it more too if that were the case.
Are you just joking or do you really not believe carbon emissions and human activity are contributing to climate change?

But if it is true, at least it will be warmer.
