Rock band Daughtry will perform Aug. 9 at the Indiana State Fair.

Led by former "American Idol" finalist Chris Daughtry, the band joins a Grandstand entertainment lineup that includes Carrie Underwood Aug. 8, Sugarland Aug. 12 and the touring edition of "A Prairie Home Companion Aug. 13.

Daughtry is touring to promote its self-titled debut album, which has sold more than 2 million copies since its release in November 2006.

Tickets, priced at $59.50, $49.50 and $39.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. April 12. Fair admission is included with the purchase of a ticket.
