you can talk about pretty flowers, green grass and walks on the beach but if you so much as talk about women without their clothes on you will be BANNED!

i posted about the beautiful Marion Cotillard, the woman who won the oscar for best actress, being nude in a ton of films. i did not post pictures. i did not swear. i attached a picture of her, clothed, and inserted a link to the best blog on the web (What Would Tyler Durden Do - www.wwtdd.com). THE POST HAS BEEN REMOVED! Sorry, but that's complete and utter BS! I lost 12 karma points while some who will remain nameless gain 12 karma points for posts like this:

"I went to Arby's last night. They have a lot of roast beef. Sadly, they ran out of horsey sauce."

way to go indy.com!

PS - i'm totally offended by the post about Rosa Parks and a porn star! take 12 points away from the man who posted!

Sweet Fancy Moses.

I blame Matt Gonzales. He has a vandetta against you! Did you know that you can type in BOOBS on http://www.images.google.com and see boobs! Holy cow.

i apologize to those i have offended with my comments about Amy Winehouse, Kanye West, movies, nude women, etc., etc. i promise to not be so cynical from now. i want to be a positive part of this community. i am putting myself on a self-imposed week long suspension. no posts for a week. good luck and godspeed!

Obie: As far as I know, no one on staff deleted your post.

If users find posts offensive, they can flag them. A post that gets flagged five times is automatically deleted.

Having said that, I checked out your original post, and saw that you linked directly to a page with nude videos. Even if a user hadn't deleted it, an Indy.com staff member would have eventually.

The karma points you had accumulated for your post (and the comments to it) were annulled when it was removed from the site. But it's a moot point because you've already got well over 1,000 points and are already qualified for the drawing for the MacBook Air.

So take a breath, man. Indy.com loves you. Maybe not as much as ronlewhorn does, but who can match that? Just remember -- posts that link directly to soft porn vids will most likely be deleted. :)

A Message from Obey the Doberman:

Thank you for your kind words Matt. It's not about the prizes for me. It's about the community. The link I posted was to a ver well-known blog and the video clips on the page were all from Rated R movies. I'm sorry to have offended so many, BUT if a post says: "Do you like beautiful women" you really shouldn't click on it if you

DON"T LIKE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN!

P.S. - I LOVE TURTLES

Haha. Thanks for relaying the message Ron. It's gonna be a long week without Obie. Sure he won't reconsider?

Needless to say, the above post is not from and actual indy.com staffer. But, it's not entirely unfunny if you're in to that kind of humor.

I probably should add myself to the staff page. Confession: I've been lazy. I thought my description on my bio would suffice. Nevertheless, I'll take care of that for ya. Should be fixed now.

Indy.comSTAFF = S.H. ???? Just a guess by the sharp humor and response time. By the way, I can NOT wait to get home to check these out!!! hahahahahahahaha

No offense taken here, but I have one question. Is there really Roast Beef involved? ..... Think about it

Braden - you're looking a bit schizo, dear, in your call and response comments. It's when you start answering yourself that people start to worry....

Yeah, the guy deleted the post I was referring to so now I'm just sitting there with two posts looking like an idiot. Oh well, likely not the first time. ;)

Lol.. Americans and their hypocritical stance on nudity. Its okay as long as no one knows, and we all have to hide. I'm sure you read about the Carmel parents group who have a problem with the Lurie galleries door handles? I'm so sick of this puritan attitude, when the entire US pop culture is based on sex, yet its not acceptible. No wonder we have so many child molesters and closet porno freaks. You know in Europe, you can walk into a video store, and the porno is out on the shelf like other videos. Even children can walk past it... God forbid an American child pick up a European fashion mag.. I just had to rant, because I'm tired of art being seen as pornography. There is a big difference.

I know some women who resemble Arbys Roast Beef Sandwiches with Horsey Sauce.

Dude, this is hilarious! I saw those videos this week. WHOA! French actresses are so much cooler than American actresses. I was in Manhattan once and I ran into Halle Berry and asked her if she wanted to recreate that scene from Monster's Ball and she smacked me in the face. Not cool lady! I'll be your Billy Bob Thornton. Sorry for that.

PS - i really enjoy Arbys.

I actually just got censored for using the word t-u-r-d (spelled out for obvious reasons). I'm serious! I guess I would've been better off using the word, sh*t, huh?

Why is this post on the main page today? Do posts get randomly rotated onto the main page or something? I know they get bumped when some one replies to them, but no one replied to this one today (until now) and it was on the main page of Indy.com anyway.

We're looking in to it. There's a language filter and it's not always perfect. It's an evolving thing.

I think it's funny when, instead of censoring words, websites replace certain words with other, better words. Like on a Colts fan site, when you type in "Packers" the word is automatically replaced with "D--------s."

We should take more after the Europeans when it comes to nudity and treat it as more of an art and have a greater appreciation in general for it. I'd be all about nude beaches in the Greek Isles!!
