Quick! What are you listening to right this very second?
I'll start:
"A Comet Appears"
The Shins
Wincing the Night Away
(My thought is that with enough replies this post could act as a good way to discover new music.)
Graham Colton Band "Killing Me"
At the moment I'm listening to the barely audible sound of my Sony Vaio's cooling fan. The last song I listened to, however, was "Crazy Bitch" by Buckcherry.
Speaking of which, I stumbled upon this amusing article from Esquire that talks about "Crazy" vs. "Crazy Bitch."

Right now, I'm listening to the sounds of a flock of pigeons (not seagulls!) flying over the house. I'm serious! They've flown over at least 4 times as if there's a statue in my yard for them to poop on our something. I opened my window because it's an incredible day and heard this freaky sound outside. I ran outside and say a flock of them flying around. Is it even acceptable to call them a "flock?" A very weird sight AND sound.
Musically, I've been listening quite a bit to the new Lenny Kravitz CD and a group called VHS Or Beta. I'm an 80's kid so you have to love a group with a name like THAT, huh?
i just got that new Erykah Badu cd, "New AmERYKAH"... and I CAN't stop listening to it. trust me, I tried. It is a fusion of 70's rock, funk, 90's hip-hop, and soul... very different from any of her previous projects, so listen with an open mind.
"Bullet the Blue Sky", U2's The Joshua Tree album
I'm trying to decide which track to cover (I'm a musician): that, "Where the Streets Have No Name" or "With or Without You".
Currently Listening to: The Way I Am
Ingrid Michaelson
Girls & Boys (album) (side note - gotta love that she has a lyric about Rogaine)
Currently stuck in my head despite desperate attempts to dislodge it?
Vampire
Antsy Pantsy
Juno Sountrack
And...in a completely unrelated but nonetheless exciting vein: Anyone else catch Wilco on SNL Saturday? First time I've watched a non-rerun version of SNL in months if not years...and I plan on doing it again next week as Vampire Weekend will be the musical guest! YAY!

I haven't gotten through the whole thing yet, but so far I'm really digging it. It's sounding better than the last couple of albums, but not sure if it could be as good as the Lucy Ford album.
Hercules Love Affair - Time Will (self titled debut album).
I've been completely stuck on this for a month. Local stores just got it from import. I think I listen to Herc about once a day.
