In general I don't care about David Copperfield, but I couldn't help but hear some of the news about the current investigation into his life. So a couple thoughts….First of all I don't quite understand why the FBI is investigating a case of him forcing himself on one woman. Did he cross state lines with her? What makes it a federal crime? Secondly, I think his lawyer is going to have come up with some better evidence to defend him besides this statement: "Copperfield's lawyer, David Chesnoff, has said the allegations 'are false because David Copperfield has never forced himself on anyone.'" Somehow I don't think that's going to hold much water in a court of law (but to Copperfields credit I haven't heard about any evidence the prosecution has either since Copperfield hasn't actually been charged with anything).
