I would have to say Phil Hartman.
But the funniest sketch ever was Schweddy Balls.

It's impossible to pick just one. It's a tie between Murphy, Ferrell, Murray, Aykroyd, Farley, Carvey, Myers, Chase, and Belushi. I honestly can't pick one out of those that should be above the others.

It is a tough call, plenty of talent. If pressed: Dan Ackroyd...he was there from the start and very quick and versatile.

Just too many to name one, but if I had to name just one, it would be Will Farrell, and the reason why would be the man has no fear, would do anything for a laugh, that's what makes him the best.
Chevy Chase. Every time one of his old movies come on TV...I can't change the channel. Even Christmas and Vegas Vacation are better than most of the crap that passes for comedy these days.
