I NEED SOME IDEAS FOR A BACHELORETTE PARTY...

FOR ABOUT 10-15 PEOPLE

DOWNTOWN OR BROADRIPPLE

my lil sister is getting married and I need something fun to do on or around August 9th (she isnt getting married until Sept.) but she wants to do this on that date...

I am looking for a dinner spot, a good bar crawl area, and possibly a hotel stay.

i've planned a few different bach parties...one time i reserved space at kiln creations in broad ripple. you can bring in your own wine/beer and we each painted a plate/coaster for the bride so she had a set from her closest friends. then we had dinner at bazbeaux and bar crawled through broad ripple. another time - did dinner and drinks in ripple and had a bus pick us up to go on a karaoke tour to all the dive bars throughout the city. another idea is dinner on the rooftop at shelbi street cafe and duckpin bowling in fountain square(they have a bar) then going out from there. cool gift idea: ask all the girls to create a scrapbook page of their memories with the bride.you buy the book and collect all the pages and give the bride the gift during the bach party (leave a couple empty pages at the back of the book to add pics from the actual party night). hope that helps!

We took my friend to Morton's Comedy joint (around 96th and keystone) for her Bachelorette party. We had a blast! The comedians made her the butt of all of their jokes and they sat us right up front. Afterwards they gave us some free stuff and took pictures with out group. After that we headed downtown to Howl at the Moon, always a good time.

OK, Ok, ok, I got it! Get VIP at The Vogue, get some champagne, some attention, the whole 9! A good start would be to contact Thomasina who is in charge of VIP, 317-525-3728. I know last summer we had specials just for bachelorette parties! Not to mention, Thomasina knows all there is to know about the good places to eat and stay. Give her a call at least, she's a HUGE help!!! After all, we only have the best at The Vogue!!

I've never been bachelorette party-ing in this city, but thought that I'd throw in my two cents. As far as comedy goes, you could even do Comedy Sportz on Mass Ave. The audience picks the topic, and having a bride to be there, that could def. be the topic (weddings, getting married, the night before, etc). They have food and beer there and they may (or may not) be cheaper than Morton's. The Vogue is def. a nice venue. Or, the Jazz Kitchen might be fun, they have Latin dance nights sometimes. Have fun! :)

Wasn't sure how the planning is coming. I would be happy to help host it. Having a maid serve brings a whole new level of fun.

It might raise the house cleaning expectations the bride has for her new husband.
