Here is a special event that I am all excited about. "Three Viewings" by Jeffrey Hatcher will be presented next weekend at the Irvington United Methodist Church. This play has three comic/dramatic monologues set in a midwestern funeral parlor. Performed separately, the three stories interweave to portray the deceased and the bereaved, and the lengths to which survivors go to hold on to memories, money, life and love. The writing and setting are intimate. Three viewings will be presented February 29 and March 1 at 7:30 pm and March 2 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for seniors. I submitted this weeks ago to the Star but I have no faith that it will see the printed page nor did I see it on the calendar. We are a small community theater and any publicity helps. I hope this sees the light of day!
