The Heartland Film Festival is supposed to "celebrate the positive aspects of life." I wonder if the movie Crash fits into that goal. It seems a little too gritty to me, but then again, I guess the same could be said for the film Kite Runner as well (I haven't seen the film, but did read the book). Any thoughts?
