RandyDaytona and anyone else who's in college or knows people in college or never went to college and has very little ambition in life but loves music... I am looking for an intern. When I'm not posting on indy.com I run the marketing department of a small entertainment company that deals with concert bookings, performance art bookings, day-to-day operations of music venues, a music/social networking website and other fun things. The company is looking for up to 3 (just hired 1) interns to aid with the marketing/promotion/booking of a summer concert series at an Indianapolis-area shopping center. The bands being booked will, for the most part, be national acts. Additionally, we will have a local print and radio partner. Interns will gain experience in the worlds of marketing, public relations and all things entertainment as they relate to the wonderful world of music. No job experience necessary although we'd really like to hire some outgoing students with an interest in working in these fields or those who just want to move to LA or NYC after school and attempt to work in what's left of the music industry. We'd like applicants to be able to begin in March/April to prep the series which runs from June-August.
Anyone interested can email me for more info at: thedobermanpresents@yahoo.com
I want to move to LA but I'm not big in to music. I'll keep my eyes out for you though. I wish I was trying to get in to the music industry because it would be an honor to intern under obeythedoberman.
