The Beckmann Theatre will continue its development of David Schanker's play, "Kiritsis", with a public reading at 7:00pm Monday Feb. 25, at the Harrison Center for the Arts, 1505 N. Delaware St.

"Kiritsis" explores the relationship between two men, one a volatile, anti-religious son of Greek immigrants, the other a conservative, religious Midwestern banker, during the three days the banker was held hostage. Schanker also wrote the critically acclaimed "Asylum", given it's world premiere by the Beckmann in 2005.

Admission is free but a donation is requested. Audience members are invited to give feedback after the reading, which will help the author and director in development.
