That website is hilarious. Pretty much sums up 90% of the posters in this forum.
I checked it out, but I guess I just don't get the humor.

Really? Hmmm....nothing in the website seemed to connect as something a white person would like, or perhaps it touched a nerve and therefore you "didn't get the humor"...?
Actually, I thought it was pretty funny and surprisingly accurate on a few of the posts.

Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood for it that day. I see that it is very popular, it is one of Wordpress's top ranked blogs today and yesterday.
Also, I guess that I don't see why these things are supposed to be things white people like. Do blacks not recycle? I don't know. I don't know who Mos Def is, although I have heard of him. Are white people the only ones who go through difficult break-ups? I;ve never heard of Michel Gondry either. When I hear music, especially at concerts, I dance. I don't care about or play sports.
I guess they just don't really amuse me mayb e because they don't apply?
Maybe I can illuminate: The site is making fun of a specific type of white person.
This same site could have focused on the following:
NASCAR
Dane Cook
Steakhouses
The Suburbs
Light beer
College sports
Golf
But then the site would have been making fun of white people like RandyDaytona rather than (mostly) white people like me. :)

haha ouch. I think the people it's making fun of fall in to the yuppie category. But I do like steakhouses, the suburbs, college sports, and sometimes Dane Cook and light beer.

Perhaps you are looking at this as a bit too "all or nothing" I think many do apply to white people (specifically of Generations X & Y) whether we like to admit it or not. Sure, you should take a few of the posts with a grain of salt, but many others rang so true to me; it just shows me the differences in cultures that still exist to this day.
P.S. A black person who drives a Prius, recycles and only eats "organic" is rare.....on the other hand, these are very common traits in the white middle-class culture.

If you have to like Dane Cook to be considered white, I'm applying for minority status. I'm not white enough to figure out why the hell anyone would think he's funny.
Cook does a good Oprah bit. He does. "EVERYBODY GETS A HUMP BACK WHAAAAALEEEEEE!" And, I'm not even white!

i will give up my caucasianess rather then like Dane Cook. Speaking of Dane Cook, that part in Mr. Brooks is AWESOME!
