Barack Obama didn't just beat Hillary in Virginia. He didn't just get more votes than John McCain. In "red" Virginia, Obama got 142,000 more votes than all the Republicans put together. And that was with Hillary Clinton taking 100,000 more votes than John McCain.

He kicked butt, took names, and did it with both hands tied behind his back.

Oh, and in Maryland, with 40% of the vote in, Hillary is beating all Republicans put together while losing by 27%. You could probably limit Democrats to only left-handed voters, or red-haired voters, or left-handed red-haired voters whose names start with 'Q,' and the Republicans would still be in trouble. - from dkos

Did the thought cross your mind that Republicans know who their candidate is so they aren't bothering to vote?

Did the thought cross your mind that the American public is often influenced by PEER PRESSURE? Not showing up to vote sends out signals that there is something WRONG... like perhaps NONE of the republiCAN'T candidates have a clue... or a chance.

No its pointless for RepubliCANs to vote in the primaries now. It's a done deal, John McCain will be the Republican candidate. As for the Democrats, there still two people in it so of course they are going to still vote.

It's the PRIMARIES and what we are voting on has already been solved. I know when we have our primaries in Indiana I'm not going to vote because it would be a waste of time.

The only people who would go vote against him are the Evangelical Christians who think Mike Huckabee is still in it for some reason.

Yeah... I agree voting in May will be a waste of time. But then again... Voting for McCain in November will be a waste of time too ;)

I'd love for Obama to have locked up the nomination by May, so my vote isn't necessary :) Hillary Cattle-Legs Clinton, mooove on over :)

for better or worse there will be a lot of voters afraid to vote for Obama over McCain due to experience. however, everyone in the country should vote for McCain for Hilary if she's given the nod. honestly, four more years of Republican rule is better than Hilary.

As long as no one votes for Monica Lewinsky's ex-boyfriends wife, we should all be fine.
