This cute little shop resides at 56th and Illinois. Its a pretty small little place, right between Yum Bistro and that toy store.
We went there last night for the first time. They had a good amount of cupcakes to choose from, as well as gelato (yummmmm). I got a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting and my roommate got a chocolate cupcake with buttercream frosting.
They were sooo good!!! I definately suggest visiting the Flying cupcake soon. Plus, its a local business, so if that's not reason enough to eat cupcakes then I don't know what is.
We stopped by recently for the first time. The decor was unlike anything I have seen. It was like stepping back into a grandma's kitchen. The cupcakes were decorated adorably. Best of all, they were amazing. We all agreed it is the BEST place to stop in for a treat in all of Indy!
The BEST cupcake I have ever had! Too cute inside, as well. The owner is a sweetheart and personally served us. We took our Chicago friends with us and they said it is better than any cupcake bakery they have there. We are proud to have this place nearby!
