Body worlds uses real cadavers for this combination of art and science. The artist, Dr. Gunther von Hagens, preserves the bodies and displays them in very different ways (athletic positions, cross sections, etc...), allowing you to see their anatomy and the beauty of the human body.
This is an amazing exhibit, but def not for the squeemish. I saw it in Chicago and I'm excited to go see it again!

Is this the one where they cut the bodies into sliver-thin sections, so you can see the veins and organs and everything? I believe I saw this online, and it looked really neat. I would love to see it, but would need a babysitter! I don't want to give my kids nightmares!
