Looks live we're gonna get some bucks back in a rebate form. I, for one will need part for bills. Some, I intend to donate for music education supplies for a small out in the sticks school. Everyone, if we actually get this burst of bucks, give some,if even a little to someone who needs a hand.
I'm not giving any of it to anyone except the government. They're going to ask for it right back anyway. I'll cut them a check for my first quarterly estimated tax payment for the year and include this amount. For those of you without self-employement income who don't have to pay quarterly tax payments because you have it all taken out of your paychecks, I still wouldn't rush out to spend this. When a government that's in debt gives you money and tells you to go spend it to help the economy, well, that's moronic. They're going to be asking for that money back one way or another.
Your heart is in the right place frogmajik!
Having just paid off a car, I already have an extra $450/month to play with, so I'm hopeful that I won't be in dire need of this money when it comes to me. I bought a book this weekend on investing, and I think I'm going to open an IRA to put the refund in.
I will donate some, too. I am looking for a good cause. But we have to be careful how we spend it. I guess I believe in a global economy, because I just bought my HD TV, and I suppose most of that went overseas to the Samsung Corp.
I will pump that money right back into the economy by purchasing gasoline, smokes and alcohol.
They are starting to send our rebates early! The first bunch will begin Tuesday I heard.
I am saving it! I finally got debt free and I am not looking to spend any more money for a while. It will be good to have some extra in the bank!
Bills, bills, bills. Maybe a little something for myself.
