Perhaps inspired by her new association with the Olympics, Leslie Feist is taking on some almost superhuman feats of agility and endurance when it comes to scheduling her time in 2008. In between her previously reported Australian tour dates and a late spring tour of Europe, Feist will carry that torch through a couple weeks' worth of gigs in the U.S. in April. Pace yourself, dudette!

As for the rest of the Feist rundown, a version of "Honey Honey" from a BBC session will appear on the forthcoming Green Owl environmental benefit compilation, and her "My Moon My Man" will get a digital UK single February 11 from Polydor.

Oh, Feist will perform at this weekend's Grammy telecast, where she may well receive any number of the four awards she's up for. You may wind up "Best New Artist" to the powers that be, Ms. Feist, but you and me go wayyyyy back.

She's actually been around for years, she has two successful solo albums and has been part of Broken Social Scene and the Montreal collective for years. Just because you haven't heard of her doesn't mean a thing.

most people dont know her so everyone is kind of like why the hell are we bringing her here.

Most people aren't in to that indie music crap. Just because you like her doesnt mean a thing.

"Most people" meaning people in your social circle. This show will guaranteed sell out.

Feist is actually VERY mainstream. She's on a major label and sells tons of records, which I'm pretty sure excludes her from being indie or obscure. She's almost to the point of over exposure. Her records are great, though I'm surprised the show hasn't sold out yet. I give it a few days.

RamdyDaytona, who would be your dream performer at the little 5 show?

It won't sell out.

My dream performer would be Hova himself...Jay-Z

Trust me I walk around IU asking people if they know who Feist is 8 or 9 out of 10 people aren't going to know. I'd heard of her before but thats just because of the ipod ads. She may be very mainstream in England or wherever the hell she's from but not at Indiana University. This concert is for the students of IU and it sucks that some little hippies on the Union Board had to choose this bulls--- over somebody most people would like.

Didn't Jay-Z retire from touring? And you really walk around campus asking people if they've heard of Feist? I'm not making fun, I actually think it's kind of funny. Also, Feist is Canadian, but I bet that record is twice as successful here as it is Canada. I sell records from time to time and her latest is one that we have to keep ample backstock of because we sell multiple copies every day. But I don't want to argue with you. You're stubborn and I can respect that. Does preacher dan still hang around there? Did you ask him if he knows who Feist is?

Is that the guy with the megaphone who sets up outside the union? If it is, he's not there too often anymore.

Yes, I am stubborn and probably what you guys refer to "close minded and intolerant" because I don't agree with you.

as for Hov, no he isn't anymore. i dont think he tours like he used to but he still does stuff

No, I'd love to see Jay-Z too. Just wasn't sure of his status. Yeah, preacher Dan used to hang out by the river jordan with his megaphone and tell us that we're all sinners.
