WOW it was an incredible event!!! I actually watched TWO entire movies the other day, and NEITHER had any gratuitous violence, OR anyone named Van Dam or Lee in them!!! Not even exactly "check flicks", even. OK, the purpose here, is to tell you all that there is a great "sleeper" hiding on the walls of Family Video, and I really hope you will watch it and tell all your friends to check it out, too. It's ALMOST like a rockumentary/reality show kind of affair. Really fabulous music, and a general good time. The name is "ONCE". Yes, there is a small amount of relational things, but it;s mostly the chronicles of a street musician who is approached and befriended by a girl who sells flowers on the street (mostly) and the music and interactions that come about. Happens almost entirely on the gorgeous ground of Scotland, I think. One of those beautiful GREEN lands, enjoying and the accents are almost worth the price of admission. So, go check it out, and let me know if I'm on the money here. I hate to think that the miracle of my actually making the time to view a flick and enjoying it, was wasted here.

ONCE features the lead singer of THE best Irish band ever, the frames. sorry U2, your mid career stuff is boring.
ive got the movie on my hard drive but have yet to be in the mood to watch it.....but if this weather keeps up....
two movies? not to be a jerk (thats my job) but two in one day is nothing. try watching a season of the Sopranos in one sitting. try going through HALF of spike lee's joints in one day. THAT is something to cheer about, or get lazy about. i dunno.
eehhhhhh, well, I guess. :o) I'm a single Mom, with 2 fairly active boys, so the reason it's note-worthy is b/c since becoming a parent, time has rarely been made available to sit---uninterrupted---and actually FOLLOW the thing. Of course, I can tell you the plot of most of the Barney videos, and a number of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's flicks. But stuff I find to be really valuable? Those are far and few behind. Keep me posted on the Frames, tho.
And, is it your job to watch movies or to be a jerk? j/k
