look at my face! i just ruined Super Bowl performances forever and now i'm out of breath!

I would just like to say thank you to Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake for their halftime performance at the Super Bowl a few years back. Thank you both for your shenanigans. It is because of you two geniuses that we will never again get a Super Bowl musical performance from an artist under the age of 50. I'm actually not really complaining all that much because Petty rocked and the Stones are awesome but it wold be nice to be able to see a modern day act once in awhile on the biggest stage in sports and television. And not some prissy pop act either. At the very least give me the Foo Fighters or the White Stripes or Pearl Jam. Those are pretty safe rock acts. It's too bad that this country has become so safe and protective of "values" that we can only trust performers who are nearing the conclusions of their careers. So thank you JJ and JT. You guys are awesome!
