Nice! Good one. I know. I was a non-believer untill my wife made me watch and now we own all 10 seasons.
Right after that quote, he does the lunges going commando! HA priceless!
Going commando and doing lunges was the high point of the series. And I was always a sucker for Ross and Rachel, and it was actually handled right at the end too.
Oh, I forgot my other favorite scene, involving Ross and Rachel, where they were gettin' freaky in the museum (as part of their first big romance). They were making out, and they roll over and Rachel goes, "OH!" and touches Ross's face and says "oh honey, that's okay." And Ross looks at her puzzled for a second, and says "oh, no, you just rolled over on the juice box."
Great, great moment. Totally dirty but without using dirty language.
This isn't my favorite, I would have to think about that for a minute, but I just quoted to a friend the episode when Ross meets the crazy girl in the coffeeshop and she comes up to his apartment to use the bathroom and he tells her "If its meant to be, I'll guess your number."
one favorite popping into my head: "That is completely new information." -Phoebe finding out about Monica and Chandler
That's awesome. I just quoted that the other day.
A girl was transferring from my department at work to another and we
all knew about it for a couple months but it was hush-hush, so when it was annouced officially I pulled out the" Oh my gosh! That's brand new Information!"
when Joey tells Ross to explain to Chandler that all pants are hemmed by having the tailor reach up your leg, cup your sac, etc., etc. and Ross responds by saying, "yes, yes, in prison!" good stuff.
I truly miss Friends. Thursday nights were kept open just for this show. I don't remember the exact quote, but I loved it when Ross kept saying that Unagi(spelling) was a form of karate (or as he pronounced it, chi ra tay) and Rachel eventually jumps out and scares him and yells, "Unagi! Salmon skin roll."
I hardly watched Friends while it was actually airing. It ended right around the time I finish school. I usually wasn't home on Thursday nights when it was on and no DVR back then, it was off my Radar. But a few rainy days and my wife owning a few season on DVD changed that. Good stuff.
I'm not afraid to say: Throw the trivia game or Scene It edition at me and I might rip it up. (As long as my wife is on my team)
A lot of people are haters of this show, but I always liked it. How about: "Hi, I'm Chandler. Could I BE wearing any more clothes?"
