I didn't really mean as much for the whole "Danika" thing as much as the "beaver" double entendres....sorry for the mix up!

My fav commercials of the night were the "Charles Barkley" and Toyota with "Fu Manchu's - Mongoose" the commercial wasn't all that, but was really nice to hear Fu Manchu to the masses.

I didn't get the Audi one, until this morning. It hit me that it was a spoof of the God Father, the horse head scene.

I thought the eTrade baby ones were pretty good too. Nothing Blew my mind away....the bud lights were all good, but that is a given. I did laugh pretty hard at the Tide Stain one. That was good stuff.

The weakest one for me were the SalesGeanie.com cartoons. But, I guess they could have done that on purpose too.

The Doritos ad with the guy in the rat suit had me laughing out loud like an idiot. I didn't see it coming.

Okay, all I ask you to keep in mind is that I deal with advertising for my living...so no making fun.. I blogged every commercial last night and rated them on a 1-10 scale. Check it out here (http://theadvertisingreview.blogspot.com) From the beginning (http://theadvertisingreview.blogspot.com/2008/02/super-bowl-xlii-ads-giants-vs-patriots.html)

The heart commercial grossed me out, and I liked the Semi Pro/Will Ferrell spot (and I have a secret about Will Ferrell I'm dying to share with everyone...but I can't...yet. So stay tuned).

I liked the lizard Thriller commercial, but thought that the dancing girl was dumb (was that Beyonce?).

Iron Man is rocking harder every time I see something for it.

I thought the Tide talking stain was easily the funniest. But I like my comedy absurd like that.

I totally agree with the Tide commercial. It was hilarious as well as a completely true concept (distracting stain).

The other one I liked was that Planter's peanut one with the unibrow girl.

I haven't actually seen any of the commercials yet. I need to find one of those websites that has them all listed. I'm one of those weird people who hate football, so I didn't watch the Super Bowl. I usually like the commercials though.

It was actually Naomi Campbell in the Thriller commercial. And yes, Iron Man is going to ROCK!!!

Take a peek at the commercials within USAToday's AdMeter site ... http://www.usatoday.com/money/advertising/admeter/2008admeter.htm

It's pretty cool how it shows the chart of their panelists' reaction to the commercial as it plays ... and splits it out by age and gender.

Yeah...she is even more irrelevant to the commercial. :)

Weird that I couldn't distinguish, but I remember thinking maybe it was her. I was a little distracted, between my two kids running around me and talking about the game, etc.

It was a pretty weak year altogether. No one "Wow" commercial, as others have said.

I personally liked unibrow girl.

Sales Genie panda commercial was not only horrible but racist! COME ON! It's 2008. I think they were using Mickey Rooney's voice from Breakfast at Tiffany's. And who uses pandas in commercials?

I loved the Justin Timberlake commercial - it was so funny. Kind of painful in part though.

i liked seeing two of them, the baby one that was a stock broker or something along those lines, and the bud light commercial with the guys at a club trying to get a girl

The Thriller Lizards were great...and the Danika teaser worked. The Audi commercial took me a good 30 seconds before i got it...but it stuck with me - so it got the job done!
