The fave one for me was when U2 performed. Very emotional one, especially when all the names of those who died on September 11th, 2001 were displayed in the background.

I am a Tom Petty fan and really, who doesn't dig him. I don't think that this super bowl half time show will really be that good though. It just doesn't mix for me for some reason. Ever since the wardrobe malfunction, the NFL has kept it pretty low key, but Petty at the haltime show might be the lowest key(safe) the NFL could hit. I'm happy for Petty and the Heartbreakers though. It's HUGE face time.

... will not be this year. Let's face it, as long as they sign nothing but aging rockers, the show will never be great.

I really had high hopes. I am a Petty fanatic... it is a hard show to live up to, it isn't like he exposed himself or anything... I still can't wait to see him in concert again!
