big guy gut.

I just started the biggest loser competition with my office and have been pounding away trying to win it. I'm working out twice a day five days a week for 40 min. and at least once on the weekend. I'm eating high-protein low carb. Only losing about 3lbs a week and really want to be getting better numbers. Anyone Have suggestions?

Hi- just wanted to say - Good for you- we have done the something similar at our small office- there are 4 of us seriously trying to lose some weight and have some fun at the same time- 3 lbs a week is really good- if you are losing steadly and slowly i think it will stay off longer- PLus muscle weighs more than fat-- so you are probably gaining muscle mass as you go along-- Don't burn out- there are lots of good websites on health and fitness- Prevention is one i read often.. GOOD LUCK---
