Many moons ago, MOKB caused a bit of excitement with our "Hallelujah" MOKB Covers Project post. It's probably still one of MOKB's most popular posts, and we receive emails each day asking to re-up the tracks or email a particular one or all to a reader (sorry, we will eventually re-up, but emailing tracks to all the requests would just be far too time consuming). Anyway, our friends over at SoundSuck.com pointed us to a version that we didn't have in that original post. It was of particular interest as My Old Kentucky Blog will be presenting this artist locally next month. As they let us know, David Bazan was ending most of his live sets with the song last year, and this is a really good/clean live recording of it...
