I think if you've seen the music, you like the soundtrack better...

I enjoyed the music a lot during the film, but, I'm not sure exactly what songs they're playing on the radio; I haven't heard any on my commute.

The Kinks, Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, Cat Power, Belle & Sebastian, Mott The Hoople... sounds like a sweet soundtrack to me.

"All I want is you" is the one I've been hearing! I heard it probably 3 or 4 times in the past two mornings and people are requesting it.

I guess maybe its just one of those "you had to see the movie" songs...

It's "random"...and evidently, that's all the rage! I kinda like it, but I'm a little weird like that. I agree, they're not your every day, top 40, sing-along songs...but, there's a lot of truth in the lyrics...and even more fun!

Yeah...you probably have to see the movie to truly appreciate it.

aside from the twee-pop, its good. any movie that references sonic youth's best cover song then later is said to be 'just noise' is good. its not just what the "kids" are into these days, i think it shows off a lot of great music that has been made over the last 25-30 years, albiet most of the sound track has been relegated to the coolest people you'd never talk music to.

the soundtrack is absolutely awesome. i like most those songs anyway, but their placement in the movie was excellent. gotta see the movie!!!

I wish michael cera and ellen page would have done more of the tracks! It had that nice rawness on that last track they did. The vampire song gets so annoying and so does the "I like my new Bunny Suit" over and over!
