Britney Spears was picked up at her home last night and taken by ambulance to the Hospital to be put on a 3 day hold after her psychiatrist called the police to the house. But the event was apparently not a shock to the police station - who were prepared for the phone call.

The site also says she had not slept since Saturday. I frequent the site TMZ.com that had a string of rather 'interesting' videos of Miss Spears over the past week, the lack of sleep might explain her behavior.

They said Britney went quietly this time and has been working with the staff (for the most part). But I guess her friend/manager Sam and her family are fighting over who should be calling the shoots.

I for one this she needs help and is finally in the right place - I just hope they don't let her out early again this time. Though the have talked about extending it to a 14day hold.

Any one else as happy as I am to have her off the streets until she gets better?
