Has anyone else seen the play "Doubt" at IRT, and been impressed by the music?

It's used for scene changes, but also to create an incredible range of emotions reflected in the script.

That was recorded by Roger Roe, the veteran Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra oboe and English horn player. Roe played selections from George Phillip Telemann's "Fantasies" on English horn.

"Doubt" runs through Feb. 9 at Indiana Repertory Theatre.

Yes, Roger did a wonderful job, and it was an inspired choice on the part of the IRT to engage him. The music in this production becomes a vibrant scenic element -- so glad Roger, James, and whoever else was part of the decisionmaking chose not to use only minor key somber passages. Roger's a theatre fan, BTW!
