With the economy the way it's tending to go,my family and I have decided it's going to be a good year to do a big garden down in the county, beans taters, maters herbs, greens etc.I'm also going to do a small urban garden here in Indy where I stay during the week days.I'm sure anything I can grow will save grocery money. Here in town I'll grow tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets and I learned to grow potatoes in a 55 gal.drum.Does anyone else have any"tricks"so that my urban garden will render the max?
Hey, why don't you start a coop and share some of those great veggies with some of your Indy.com co-workers...er, I mean FRIENDS! There used to be placed that you could go weekly and buy a bushel..then share it with someone if you can't go through whole bushel-full in a week's time. You had to commit to purchasing every week...
