They're back! I love seeing the Sump Pumps in action. This Friday, February 1st they will be playing at Locals Only. I've blogged about these guys before, and I probably will every time they come around, because they're so much fun to watch. Sometimes they wear matching jumpsuits, sometimes they don't. Either way, they all jump around on the stage like wildmen flailing their instruments. The show kicks off around 9.30, costs about $5, and includes Schwaag and The Dockers. I haven't heard either of those bands, but you can't go wrong with a name like Schwaag. Go downtown and hit up First Friday and then head up north to the show. Locals only is located at 2449 East 56th street.
