I hear there's a football game on this weekend, but the details are fuzzy. I stopped paying attention when the Colts lost. But there are surely sad souls out there who still want to watch the Super Bowl -- degenerate gamblers, New England fans -- so Taffy will set aside his partisanship long enough to point you in the direction of sports bars that will cater to all your needs on game day.

BadaBoomz Ale House & Grill

A new venture by a former Buffalo Wild Wings franchisee, BadaBoomz offers every thing a sports fan needs smack dab in the middle of Downtown.

Knockouts

Quiet conversations are near-impossible in this raucous sports pub. Formerly part of the Bubbaz chain, the bar has brightly colored walls that provide the cheer while your friendly servers do the rest.

Rookies Sports Pub

A nice sports bar for watching the game or playing one.

Keystone Sports Review

Welcome to an old-time sports bar, gently worn in over the years and packed with regulars gathered around pizzas. Jeans and ballcaps are as formal as it gets around here.

Hours: 11 a.m. to close Monday through Saturday, noon to 12:30 a.m. Sunday during NBA season, 4 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Sunday during the off-season.

Majors Sports Cafe

Dozens of flat-screen plasma TVs adorn the walls of this large, upscale sports grill.

Buffalo Wild Wings

A new addition to the struggling Washington Square Mall, this winged bison epitomizes what we love about sports bars -- wings, beer, sports -- while keeping it family-friendly.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
