Heartland Actors' Repertory Theatre will be presenting the world premiere of MIDWESTERN HEMISPHERE: a suburban metaphysical comedy By Lou Harry and Eric Pfeffinger
HART has been developing this script with local playwright Lou Harry and Eric Pfeffinger over the past year. It will receive its world premiere this spring at the Indianapolis Artsgarden, a first for this unique performance venue. The production will open Friday March 28 and continue performances April 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. All performance times are at 8 pm. Heartland Actors' Repertory Theatre is a fully professional theatre company, all positions are paid.
Auditions will take place at Butler University: Saturday, Feb. 9, 2 pm - 4 pm Sunday, Feb. 10, 6 pm - 8 pm Monday, Feb. 11, 8 pm - 10 pm
Auditioners will have the unique opportunity to hear the play in its final work-shop reading before the auditions on Monday, Feb. 4 @ 7 pm at Butler University.
Auditions will be by appointment. Walk-ups will be accepted time permitting. Auditioners are asked to prepare a 1 - 2 minute contemporary monologue and may be asked to read from the script. Please bring headshot and resume. Sides will not be available before the auditions. All are strongly encouraged to attend the work-shop reading. Performers of all ethnicities encouraged to audition. Equity and Non-equity roles available.

Roles available: HARRISON - 29, a computer genius who is usually the smartest guy in the room because there's never anyone else there. JERRY - 41, a man who usually does things for the wrong reasons. MIRANDA -16, a teenager brighter than she and anyone else thinks she is. SUE - 32, a professional woman with a confused social life.
I know that the specific location for the reading on the 4th was not included in the initial posting. All the logistics for use of the space at Butler have now been worked out.

The auditions will take place: Saturday, Feb. 9th 2 - 4 pm -- Lilly Hall Room 173 Sunday, Feb. 10th 6 - 8 pm -- Lilly Hall Room 177 Monday, Feb. 11th 8 - 10 pm -- Lilly Hall Room 177
Lilly Hall is situated right next to Clowes Hall on the Butler campus. Rooms 173 and 177 are on the main floor in the center of the building around the corner from Butler 's Mainstage Blackbox Theatre. Parking after 3pm and on weekends is open on the Butler campus.
