OK ... so I went to see Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" Say what you will, but for some reason it's what I felt compelled to do. All in all, it was a decent film. Although Tyler Perry's movies always seem to leave me wanting more of "something," I can never decide what that is. Maybe it's more of a continuous story -- I just can't put my finger on it. Anyway, this movie was pretty good, and extremely funny -- I mean laugh-out-loud hilarious. Tasha Smith (who usually shows up in Tyler's films) is a hoot. Janet Jackson was either extremely good or extremely bad. She was much better as Penny on "Good Times." But I digress. "Why Did I Get Married?" is a good movie to see with the girls or for date night.

Glad to hear Tyler Perry's new movie is worth the price of admission. I tried watching his new TV show "House of Payne" -- wanted to like it -- but had to admit it wasn't that funny. One exception was the guest appearance by Madea (she's always funny), but the laughs ended with Madea's exit.

I definately do too. Too bad my husband isn't interested and my friends all went to see it while I was working. Why did I get married?? Haha.

Anyone else here think Tyler Perry is an overpaid cross-dresser? I see his Madea film titles and cringe, there just doesn't seem to be any compelling material here except taking advantage of overworked stereotypes and petty social problems.

Looking forward, however, to the new Beatles flick.
