So, if you were in my shoes, where would you make reservations for a little ambiance, wine, music and Valentine Day's dinner? It must be a locally-owned and operated place (no chains, please), and it must be a no-smoking establishment.

Bella Vita...on Geist Lake, so nice view. Good food, usually music, great wines. Call ahead!

Whatever you do don't do something like 'The Eagles Nest" Boring! The melting Pot is always fun, and you can feed each other the food. That is hotttt!!!

Agio's on Mass Ave is a great little place. They have great food and a good wine list as well.

I second Agio's! IF you are in BG try Augustino's it is more in Southport, I have not been yet but here very good things. And it is locally owned!
