The JJ Abrams version of "Star Trek" has its first teaser trailer. Of course, if you saw "Cloverfield" over the weekend, chances are good you already saw this, but, as always, the extremely unlucky among us who get to see movies up to a week or more in advance are often screwed out of the opportunity to watch some of the more highly-anticipated trailers (that would be me).

For the uninitiated, this is the original (i.e. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, etc) series, but it's reportedly neither a sequel nor really a remake. In true "Trek" fashion, they're going time-travel and/or alternate reality, because both an elder Spock (played by Leonard Nimoy) and a young Spock (played by Zachary Quinto of "Heroes") will be shown...onscreen.
