Basic Story: Following a successful debut back in 2005 that earned them an odd spot opening for Coldplay, Black Mountain make their triumphant return.
Sample: "Night walks with me/ and the moon leads me/ just enough light to see in the shadows/ my only company/ and it moves just like me/ and it walks just like me."
Verdict: Perspiration, shortness of breath, blurred vision - all possible side-effects for those who choose to listen to this record. Okay, maybe that's a bit of an overstatement, but this is by no means a walk in the park. "Tyrant," the album's single, clocks in at over eight minutes during which the song ventures through so many layers of rock you'll think you're falling down a mine. The best, however, was saved for last. On "Night Walks," Amber Webber takes over on vocals and proves why the critical acclaim keeps pouring in.

I'm so into this CD.
Black Mountain rule and unfortunately will not be playing Indy on their current tour. Shocking!
