Those words came from one of my favorite songs of the moment, Superstar by Lupe Fiasco....if you haven't heard it, check it out...matter a fact, check out the whole CD.... Those words will sit with me right alongside of the words i my new pastor had me repeat in a church service that i am sure was meant for me ("this is my year")...i just wanted to say to anyone reading this, speaking things into existance has worked for me, and it can work for you to...last summer, i spoke a trip to NY into existance and before i knew it, i was ditching my plans of going to Texas for a 12 hour drive to NY....speak it into existance.....a few weeks back, i spoke that it was my job to get someone in the paper....it didnt have to be, it didnt have to be my story, but i wanted another poet or even one of our venues to get some air time....just a little bit...just so Indy knows whats on the horizen....it wasnt even a week later that i opened up the Indy.com paper only to see my profile staring back at me from the page....MY profile...it wasn't an article, it wasn't an interview....it was just my profile...sounds like small cheese right....nope...its big...its reality....speaking things into existance really works....it worked for me....and it also a sign that was sent to me from a much higher power telling me to be on the lookout for none other than.......MYSELF....just believe....believe in all that you are, all that you do and everything that you want....then speak it into existance and watch the universe turn your way :)
Thank God.
so when are we going to speak this studio time in existance? This album ain't gonna make itself homegirl :)
your post is hard to read because of the lack of paragraphs but it is a good song.
This is the best post I've read all night.
your post is hard to read because of the lack of paragraphs but it is ...
I'm sorry that my "lack of paragraphs" made this unable for you to read....but its not a long enough story for a whole bunch of paragraphs...in the future, i hope what i write is easier for you to read...
