With MLK Day coming up next Monday (Jan. 21), it's made me think about the impact that someone like Martin Luther King Jr. has had on society, where we stand today, where I'd like to see us in the future, etc.

Where do you think we are now and where do we need to be? How do we feel about the "Dream" all these years later?

All I know is that if you find yourself broken down on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, RUN!

Never on MLK, but I recently found myself broken down at 23rd and College.

Some comic used that as part of his routine. Something about, no matter what city or state you're in, if you're driving on MLK, you're in the ghetto. Why is that?

Chris Rock said it and it's completely 100% true.

23rd and College is no picnic either. I was robbed at gun point at 23rd and Keystone just recently after coming home from a DJ gig and getting a flat tire. Ghettos are so nice and welcoming!

AAA had a two hour wait too.

I immediately called a friend to come get me. :)

God bless Chris Rock. I knew it was someone like that.
