Well, it's a bummer about the Cloud Cult show being cancelled (We wish them the best of luck with their troubles and in finishing their new record), but we have another great show we're putting on with The Monolith Music Festival the very next night! Local favorites Everything, Now! along with Cameron McGill, Grampall Jookabox and former Chamberlain member David Moore will all be performing at Radio Radio for only $5! Four bands for $5 is a deal you just can't beat.
Cameron McGill is a fabulous singer/songwriter from Chicago who fans of alt-country mainstays like Ryan Adams and Rocky Votolato will really love. Fans of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and other singer/songwriters that cross great pop stylings with country will also love Cameron. Warm Songs for Cold Shoulders will be McGill's third album, following up Street Ballads & Murderesques which was released in January 2006.
Everything, Now!, from Muncie, Indiana, are some of the most creative and daring musicians around these parts. The band put out two fantastic releases in 2007.
One of the most creative new projects coming out of Indianapolis is David Adamson and Aimee Brown's Grampall Jookabox. Drawing heavily on the folk music of the 1920's and 1930's, Adamson then creates an experimental sound collage that is really fantastic! Make sure to check out Grampall Jookabox's MOKB/SIRIUS Blog Radio session.
David Moore is the former singer/songwriter of Chamberlain. He's recording songs this summer for his upcoming solo debut.
