Luke Austin Daugherty is the anchor artists for a performing arts event (i.e., concert) at the Art Bank during First Friday at Mass. Ave. in Indianapolis. (811 Mass. Ave.) on January 4th.

This is a Bohemian Style Event from 6-9pm that will feature many types of artists "stealing" ideas from each other during a sharing of art forms. This is the first of 3 other "Robbing the Bank" (tm) events in 2008. (Next one scheduled for May 2nd.)

The Art Bank is a new art gallery on Mass. Ave. The building was an old bank and they have left the interior the same with the old teller's cages and bank vault.

Please join us for an interesting night of performing and visual art being created while you watch. Luke will be joined by Steve Woerner and John Strickland along with other performing artists. There will be many visual artists exhibiting art and creating art that night.

There is lots of parking available on this block of Mass. Ave.!!

Sweet. Sounds like a unique & creative event. I went ahead and added related posts and venue /event info links. Hope you don't mind.

Thanks Ben for the nice comment and for adding the related posts and event links.

Along with the article that Jessica Halverson wrote (see releated posts), Nuvo covered Luke and the event in their paper today.

On another note, is Jessica Halverson still covering music for the Indy Star paper/website?

Hope to see you on Friday at "Robbing the Bank."
