I was already excited about "The Incredible Hulk," which is, at best, a quasi-sequel to the screwy Ang Lee version from a couple of years ago--it won't be a full origin story, but won't exactly reference the previous film, either.
But take a look at this picture. Does it look familiar? It's a loving homage to the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno late 70s-early 80s "Incredible Hulk" TV show, and that for me amps up my excitement tenfold, because "Hulk" was likely the first non-familial thing in my life that I truly loved.
at least it doesnt have eric bana! maybe ed will change his tire and hurt his hand on the tire iron also!
I'm glad that they're throwing out the entire first movie and saying "hey, that didn't happen." Now, if only I could forget it.
I hear this one will NOT have radioactive poodle monsters in it.
Yah, this one looks promising. I definitely wasn't a fan of the first movie. Ang Lee was a horrible choice for the Hulk. I like his other films, but he was never cut out to direct a comic book movie.
I've heard a little rumor that while there are no poodle monsters, there is a little crossover between this Hulk and the "Iron Man" movie in preparation for an "Avengers" movie. Sounds interesting to me!
Hopefully they'll be smart and not try and make the Hulk movie too complicated.
I wonder if he'll be hounded by ace reporter Mr. McGee?
Listen punks, if you want to talk about awesome superhero movies, we should be talking about "The Dark Knight", which is going to blow the freaking doors off the freaking movie theater due to it's extreme awesomeness.
Did I mention it will be awesome?
Right you are, Bats, except that it's looking like "Hulk" and "Iron Man" might give you a little run for your money. Jon Favreau seems to be taking this pretty seriously, and Louis Leterrier has made some decent action pictures.
